Yom Kippur and the Holy Name

Tonight's study centers on the Yom Kippur Service in the Temple where the Kohan Gadol pronounced numerous times the Holy Name of God. We look at the response of the people each time this occurred. We also examine the question whether this was a Rabbinical ordinance or a commandment from God. The study also takes us to the daily Tamid service where the Priestly Blessing was sung by the kohanim who participated in that service and what that has to do with how it is done today.
